Just some grainy cameraphone shots through a window, but the ornithologists amongst us might be interested. These are quite rare apparently, and caused by a genetic malfunction.

Have got the proper camera and zoom lens at the ready in case it reappears.

Interesting Tim. One used to visit my mother's garden down on the south coast. It was quite a favourite of hers and was around for several years. Quite a cocky little thing and always turned up when there was any digging going on or scraps had been put out.

We're trying to see where it is based, but it's not appeared for the last couple of days, at least when someone's been looking.
