Thinking about the recent eclipse across the US, I looked out a couple of pics from our family holiday in 2017, watching that particular eclipse from Tennessee.
Many thanks, Rob. We rolled up at the Spur Road lookout point in our RV the night before. I'm glad we did, as we wouldn't have got in on the day. It was packed. It was amazing. The only other total eclipse I've seen was the one that passed over the UK in 2000(?). Quite an eery quiet during the darkest period.
I was into photography at the time, but shamefully I didn't take any pics. Still, my excuse was and is, that I was still recovering from a bad dose of Sepsis (and a whole hoard of related symptoms) at the time. I was off work for about 6 months.
