Hello old website...

Hamish Gill

Tech Support (and Marketing)
You maybe a little surprised to see this site again ... I certainly am!

I have decided to ditch vb5, it was trying to be too clever ... ... and in trying to fix it, I broke it, irreparably!!

So, Back to this for the time being!

I'm really sorry about all the lost posts from today and yesterday!

We are now planning on moving to a much more basic forum platform calle xenforo http://xenforo.com/
I have worked on it before and found it to be very simple and a lot more intuitive than vbulletin!

I regret not moving directly to it!

Anyway, sorry again for the loss of posts, thanks for your patience with me!! :)

I'll believe it. There are way too many gremlins floating around the web.

This is going to make my life nice and easy on Monday

Oops! Have to say Hamish Xenforo is very sweet - I've used it before and it's very nice as an admin and user experience. Good luck with it all. I do wonder if vB has had it's day?

Two days of VB5 tell me it is indeed past it's best.
I find configuring good web software enjoyable, Wordpress, Prestashop, etc they have their issues... But ultimately I enjoy finding the solutions.
vb5 is wholly unintuitive to use and the idea of returning to a second day of tinkering with it was not something I was happy about Friday morning. I just wish I had looked at XF better first. The main attraction of vb5 was he responsive design... XF does even that better! Basically, I wasted two days... You live and learn!

They would appear to us as binary Beth. I can ask him but I know he will be sceptical about the response a "mere mortal" (his words) as your self would give
