Help making a watermark?

Could anyone recommend a programme to water mark my pictures? I dont want anything too fancy, but I also dont want to have to do it individually when ive taken 300 pictures at a rally

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 is what ive been using for ages. I just could do with something that can add a watermark to a whole load of pictures in one go if thats possible, oh and be free!

Does Photoshop elements have actions?
It occurs to me that to save faffing with another price of software creating an action that applies a watermark would be fairly simple!
Just a layer with some text with the opacity set fairly low would do it ...
My Photoshop (especially elements) isn't great so let's see if we can get a tutorial out of someone else ... I'll make this into another thread for you ...

Totally free and does the job you require Alastair.
