Mate, your lucky, mine is working out at 1 camera per week at the moment lol

Now that's a nice looking set of cameras Austin, especially loving the look of the Vito B

+1 on the Vito, although if it was slightly larger and looked like that I would go out and get one :D

Good work of the fe! Great camera!!
get your self a 50mm series e lens for it (series e are the cheap ones) you will love it!

Thanks Guys.
Ken Rockwell's review influenced me to go for the FE.
A 50mm 1.8 e series is on its way.
The Helios 44 from the Zenit proved to be a dud.

A shame, how so?

The internal barrel is loose and the focus is not smooth but jumps.
I intend buying the tools necessary for DIY repairs of inexpensive glass.
Thanks for the link and photos.
Despite a glut on the market of Nikkor 1.2 50mm, the price (£400) is still very high.

Gutted!
I was hopeful for you, by I've seen so many lenses on eBay listed as "1.2" when they mean "1:2" it's silly ...
at least you are aware now ...

*has a Kodak Retinette 1b arriving soon*

Haha... Nice!
Dont buy anything else until I get mine all up for sale!
Im not promising there will be anything really good ... But tere might be! ;)

Im still looking for a film SLR, I might just buy that Pentax K1000 kit I found from an online student photography store, will get used to my D3100 first though :D

*ahem* its still working out at 1 per week :D - cameras bought from Hamish:

Here is my favorite so far, its a Nikon EM kit - with the flash and auto winder (allows burst fire as well :D)

It all comes apart and its a very compact camera

Nikon F mount FTW :D - thats my 18-55 kit lens from my D3100 - although will have issues with aperture adjustment!

The cool thing I REALLY like about this EM is that its partly automatic, its got a really good light meter that adjusts the shutter speed for you depending on the light and will beep if its over or under exposed as well as the fact that it has a little red light in the VF to let you know when the flash is ready to fire and it automatically sets how much flash is needed as well.

I thought that my D3100 had a lot of features, this FILM SLR has loads of cool features I didn't think possible with something with a single small battery lol - although the flash does take 4 batteries and the winder takes 6! But you don't need those to adjust the camera :)

Here are some specs I found on the Nikon EM kit - just need to find the lens it came with me thinks - will look for a 50mm I think :)
