I've uploaded a few images I took from the Ingleby Gallery in Edinburgh this afternoon. The whole gallery has been given over to work by one artist: the Brazilian, Iran do Espirito Santo, and is called Aside...

On the ground floor he drew simple black lines directly onto the gallery walls, maybe just one or two lines. Very minimal.

On the second floor, he placed a few large mirrors against the wall.

I took his minimalist style and used it to interpret the gallery space. Hope you like the result...

@Paul Lange - Thanks, Paul! You know, I didn't have an opinion about the merits or otherwise of the installation - but the experience of being alone in the gallery, and gently nudged into a contemplative state, was quite worthwhile. Maybe that was the point of it.

Thanks, Leslie. My old guitar teacher said, "It doesn't matter what you do in the middle, just make sure the beginning and end are alright. That's all they'll remember".
