Lonesome Tree

Cheated a bit. I liked the sky in this one. It had two, maybe three half trees originally. Cut out the unwanted tree and moved the bird that used to fly on the right side of the picture, which is now, near the tree. Anyway as said it was the Sky against the dark foreground that I like, the tree did break things up positively I think.

Looking on my iPad, I'm not convinced about the bird, Julain, which has a halo around it when zoomed in a little. And when not zoomed in doesn't look like a bird, just a dot. Beautiful, otherwise!

The wonders of editing. Looking at the original raw it was a gull. You are doing amazing if you can get a photograph here without a gull in it somewhere. Bad cloning or lazy and thanks Rob. Still not perfect but hey.

Much better now, Julian! Really stunning. One could imagine a whole movie based around this one shot. Maybe a Thomas Hardy period production?

I guess the bird flew away because I don't see it. Anyway, I'm glad its not there because I think this image is a real stunner. A beaut! A "stonker!" A cracker! (Did I mention that I like it?):)

Wonderfully cinematic shot Julian (all my usual adjectives had previously been used up by Brian!) :D
