Sunny snowy afternoon in Sedona AZ

After a few more flurries, the snow finally backed off enough for some late afternoon sunshine - the temps stayed around freezing, and the roads were a little tricky, but we picked out a couple of likely locations and headed out with cameras loaded.

First stop was the area around Chimney Rock

We then headed East to the area around the Chapel of the Holy Cross - and waited for the sun to come out from behind a snow shower...

It was worth the wait

Here's the view from the base of the Chapel, looking East.

These two rock spires are known locally as the 'Nuns'

The Mesa to the right is Courthouse Mesa, because it looks like a big old courthouse building
