Sunny snowy afternoon in Sedona AZ

After a few more flurries, the snow finally backed off enough for some late afternoon sunshine - the temps stayed around freezing, and the roads were a little tricky, but we picked out a couple of likely locations and headed out with cameras loaded. :p

First stop was the area around Chimney Rock

We then headed East to the area around the Chapel of the Holy Cross - and waited for the sun to come out from behind a snow shower...

It was worth the wait :)

These two rock spires are known locally as the 'Nuns'

The Mesa to the right is Courthouse Mesa, because it looks like a big old courthouse building
