I would have been tempted to show more of the lower part (yellow flowers - colza?). But this composition probably works better.

I took quite a few shots as this was one for work - so I have landscape and portrait with the tree higher, lower, more copy space etc

I agree. The composition is great and the contrasting colors make for a wonderful image.
