Went out this evening to capture my 'motion' shot - taken from the Cabrillo Bridge, overlooking Highway 163 as it winds through Balboa Park towards downtown San Diego.

That's pretty snazzy matey!
Compo is really nice ...
Is there any detail to been drawn back out of the shadow areas though?

that would be good idea hamish but difficult i guess.....maybe subtle HDR may help...............??

Actually... there is plenty of shadow detail, I just turned up the black in PP on this version.

Will have another play today on my calibrated desktop rather than the laptop.

I jammed the tripod up against the railing on a bridge over the road, so that the lens protruded through the railing to get the shot.

The bridge is higher than your normal overpass because the road below is in a small canyon, and the Cabrillo Bridge spans the canyon and the road.
