This is the first one I want to show, labelled 'Light 'n' Shadow'.....
Shot with long (2005) expired Fuji Velvia 100 film... Oh, and my Altix has a CJZ Tessar 50/2.8 lens mounted...

Great contrast and I love the position of the shadow and the sheen on the bricks.

Well Pete, I don't love the oversaturation of Velvia at all, so I thought I'd just desaturate a little....
And besides, the shots were all quite reddish....

I have heard of allowing a photo to 'bleed' off the edge, but never known colour to leak away completely lol looks good though just shows what you can do with expired film as well.

so how did you find shooting without and focus aid?

i missed another altix yesterday ... Went for £26 ... I would have paid £30 if I'd spotted it in time too ...

Thanks a lot! Hamish, I have more shots of course, but this one was the best one. I can show more.... And somehow I liked the un-control you have with this camera....
