You'll get 3-4 mins per 8mm roll - load/change rolls in the dark to maximize film time, and minimize light fogging.

16mm comes in 100 ft rolls - Ektachrome 100D 7285 Color Reversal Movie Film 16mm single perf. 100ft. spool - $49.95

So about the same price per final footage.

Now you know why granddad's home movies were all short!

I've had the same cost issues buying my Eumigs in Blighty on EBAY then shipping out West

In the end, I just look at the total cost, bugger-all for the camera, plus shipping - and think the over-all price works out ok.
