Article: Downsizing Again - Rollei 35

IQ vary,...? Sorry,...don't follow. Can you repeat more slowly so I understand?

Sorry - does the image quality vary if the stand process has to pull out an image say from a vastly under exposed image (because you dialed up the ISO for example)

How could they all look the same after processing - no understandos :/

I suspect that the theory is that the process is self limiting as there is no agitation to bring new chemistry to the surface of the film. If that was really the case then contrast would vary throughout the roll. I'm not entirely convinced but it would have some impact I'm sure.

I have heard that as well, basically the chemicals get exhausted quicker where its more exposed vs less exposed, with no fresh development fluid being moved onto the film the more exposed sections of the film stop getting developed whereas the parts that aren't carry on getting developed - highlights aren't blow out and there is detail in the shadows.

Here is some wiki info on it:

Nice and sharp! I like the Birdhouse and the Agave shots. Sweet!

Chris, those shots are great! I can't believe they came via that wee beauty. Wonderful stuff. I like the contrast for these shots. What a great purchase!

Just put a roll of Fuji 200 color print through it - at CostCo now being ruined, I mean deved and scanned :D

Will post results later

I have some Ilford 400 to try, both XP2 and FP5, and some Kodak 125 B&W - as del as my usual Ilford 50 PanF

If its not panf it's just random letters and number to you isn't it ... ;)

Yep - pretty much

I used some XR2i today I think - white box with red bits on - Ilford - you know the stuff ;)

I want one, I really really want one. I don't need one, but that never stopped anyone, did it? :)

I have a sudden need to either buy an Olympus Pen EE to shoot smaller frames than this, or a 110 sub miniture camera lol :D
