Sorry Ben, would have been nice to pop and say hi, but our time was taken up with seeing the family ... next time!

That one with the label is also my fav. However, I think its a great set overall. As to the label, I didn't see it until after Pete mentioned it, then I went back and looked at other detail bits, such as the reflection in the telly. At least one, maybe two additional human being can be spotted. Good stuff Hamish.

I might have been a bit sneaky and slightly enhanced the tv screen :)
You can def see me leaning over a table taking the shot...

Always fun paying 'pass the baby' with the rels! ;)

Nice set Hamish - will be a great record of that time

How close are you in #2?

Can't believe how much Connie had grown already!

Love these photo's, really like how natural they look, no forced poses. Shame we couldn't meet up, you were only a stones throw from out flat if you were at the Mansion. Give us a shout next time you are down and you can pop in and see the flat and my ever growing collection of camera stuff (just picked up a Voigtlander Zeiss Ikon Vitessa 500s and sold Rapid D and Vito CLR).

you should take some photos of these voigtlanders and make some posts about them :)

I have a bunch of voiglanders for sale (via a mate of Pete's) once i know what the score is with them and which ones i am keeping ill let you know what is left ... some lovelys :)

and yeah, next time we are down we will pop in ... we were with hannahs parents so we just stuck with them ... It was the first time Patrick got to meet his great grand daughter ...

Bit gutted, just got battery for the vitessa 500s, shutter fired a couple of times and is now unresponsive. Think I may have to dismantle unless you have any tips?

As far as I can tell the battery only powers the shutter. And its a brand new battery I got on my lunch break today. So I can only assume that the shutter has got stuck some how. Although there is a slight bit of movement on a couple of the shutter blades when you advance the film (the wiggle a little). When I first powered it up it was a bit sticky (stuck half open on bulb but a couple more clicks and it shut properly again). My guess is its jammed shut.

I wouldn't like to say ...
Pete mentioned soomewhere about possible methods for freeing seized shutters but i cant find it ... if he doesnt notice this ... start a new thread ...

Great set Hamish, love the quality here just great natural shots.

Vic
