Here's another of my night time Getty Center shots with the CheapAsChipsCam. Obviously I didn't get this one quite right. I believe I underexposed it and hence the grain. Still, I like the image. I exposed it for 20 seconds and had the camera balanced on the edge of a trash bin.

Thanks a lot, Hamish. I quite like the lighting under the stairwells because it seems to connote a kind of negative image quality for me.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know exactly what you mean
Definitely adds to the dreamyness of it doesn't it?!
You really pulled it out the bag with this roll eh?

Looks like night vision imaging Brian :)

did you deliberately not take a tripod in order to use the street furniture as part of the creative process?

Yeah, Chris,....you're right it does!

Actually yes. My thought was to use whatever I could, other than an actual tripod, to steady the camera for night shots. (Don't really know if the Getty allows tripods, and couldn't be bothered carting one around anyway.:))

Thanks Chris.

Google here I come. (...be back in a minute, Pete.)

...tick tock tick tock....

(...back noo.) Yes I see what you mean, Pete. At least one illustration I saw did have a "look" that my photo could be reminiscent of.

Thank you.
