What an amazing selection of photographs. What lens were you using?

We are going on holiday and I am taking a 5oo m/m telephoto and a 400 m/m fixed lens. debating if I should take one over the other . have a 2x tele-converter also.

I'm glad you like the photos! This thread contains photos from various cameras, all fixed-lens models. For example, this recent set of images are from a Sony DSC-RX10 M3 and Sony DSC-RX10 M4, both of which feature a 24-600mm equivalent fixed-lens zoom. They are generally referred to as superzoom bridge cameras.

I missed these when you first posted them, Tony. What a great set again. The Egret and the Osprey are both superbly set against their backgrounds and are fabulous shots. The two Cormorants though are just amazing. Fantastic lighting and what great composition you have created. One of your best I think, Tony.
